The Hobbs High FFA got a great sendoff to state competition on Tuesday! The students and advisors will attend the New Mexico FFA State Career Development Event (CDE) held in Las Cruces, which are competitions for students in FFA agricultural education programs. They will be competing at the NMSU campus in Las Cruces from April 1-5.
Teams competing are: Agriculture Mechanics, Dairy Cattle Evaluation, Floriculture, Food Science, Horse Evaluation, Poultry Evaluation, Vet Science, Wildlife. Some of the events such as dairy science will be held at a local diary in Las Cruces. The teams had to qualify earlier this season at one of the State CDE Invitationals by placing top 5 to compete at this State Competition. Good Luck Eagles!
