Hobbs Schools November Calendar Reminders
Mark your calendars! As we head into November, please take note of the following dates for Hobbs Municipal Schools:
Monday, November 2: Remote learning for students and staff professional development.
Tuesday, November 3: All schools and district offices will be closed for Election Day.
Monday, November 23: Remote learning for students.
Tuesday, November 24–Friday, November 27: Thanksgiving Break. All schools and district offices will be closed.
Please plan accordingly, and we wish all of our Eagle families a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving Break! 🦅

Dear Parents,
Hobbs Schools will be offering the annual flu vaccine to our students at no cost, as we have done for the past 17 years. The flu vaccine will be given at Heizer on November 10th 2026.
In partnership with Pharmacy 575, these vaccines will be given to our students at each school by a team of HMS school nurses.
If you would like your child to receive the flu vaccine, please fill out the consent form completely and sign. Return the form to your school nurse as soon as possible. You are required to complete all information at the top of the form, including the insurance information, medical screening questions and your signature. Consent forms will be available at your school if you cannot print one.
THESE VACCINES ARE NOT REQUIRED. They are being offered as a service to our students.
If you have any questions concerning the clinic, please contact your school nurse.

This day was established by the National Education Association (NEA) in 1998 to help get kids excited about reading.
